Versatile, luxury, realistic pick-up truck...

I present to you my imitation of the 2021 GMC Sierra.
This car is great for anyone who wants to get some work done while still enjoying the drive. Great off-road and on-road capabilities. Realistic transmission and overall behavior, a lot of useful functions, luxury cabin... What else would you need? Enjoy my creation.

Basic info:
  • Top speed 170 km/h
  • 8-speed realistic automatic gearbox with optional manual shifting
  • 0 to 100 in +- 4 seconds
  • 1303 L fuel capacity
  • Sunroof

  • Adaptive steering
  • Onboard computer
  • Big 96x64 screen with navigation, automatic air conditioning and radio
  • Luxury cab for 5 players

How to work with the gearbox:

Gearbox has realistic behavior. Parking brake is automatically deployed when P is shifted. Keep in mind you should be always braking when you change gears IRL. The car will not allow you change gear lever position when pressing W, except when you are driving in D, and you wanna switch to sport S or manual M, and vice versa.

1. Start the car
2. Hit brakes (S)
3. Change the gear lever position by buttons on display, or by Up/Down.
4. Release brakes, and you can go.

  • Map / front camera / parking camera / dark theme

  • Estimated range
  • Odometer
  • Battery status
  • Temperature of the engine




Main screen:
  • Map / front camera / parking camera / dark theme
  • Automatic air conditioning
  • Radio with channels 1-32
  • Settings


Functions:
  • Start/stop system - will turn off engine when you stop and hold brakes. Engine will turn on automaticaly as you release brake again. This assistant can be turned off
  • Adaptive steering - the faster you go, the less you steer, for a smooth driving. This assistant can be turned off
  • Collision detection - The system detects any impact and turns on warning lights
  • Hill start assistant - will hold brakes, so vehicle can seamlessly move off when its standing on a hill
  • ABS - Anti-lock brake system. Prevents the wheels from locking during braking
  • Automatic headlights - lights are set to auto by default, they will light up automaticaly according to the time of a day. You can manualy control them on display behind the steering wheel.
  • Welcome lights - the car will greet you by turning on the lights when you come close to the car at night, so you can find the door handle and get in easily. Welcome lights will not be working when you manually set headlights to OFF.
  • Smart interior lights - they will turn on when you open the doors, and they will remain turned on 10 seconds after you close the doors.


Trailer connector data:
  • Channel 1 number - W/S
  • Channel 2 number - A/D
  • Channel 3 bool - Car on/off
  • Channel 4 bool - Daylights
  • Channel 5 bool - High beam
  • Channel 6 bool - Left blinker
  • Channel 7 bool - Right blinker
  • Channel 8 bool - Parking
  • Channel 9 bool - Reverse


W/S - throttle
A/D - steering
Up/Down - gear selector
Left/Right - manual shifting on/off
1 - Left blinker
2 - Hazard lights
3 - Right blinker

The creator of this workshop item has been wrongfully banned by the developers of this damned game
for criticizing what they do and how they do it, he asked a simple question "why do you break already working stuff?"
and the cold blooded developers that have a mentality of a humongous car pileup
have banned him off the whole stormworks community tab, this means he cannot post comments,
post new workshop items and comment on discussions, this is outrageous and we should not accept such actions from these developers.

Depends on what have you destroyed. All the stuff under the hood is really stuffed there. If you destroy clutch, for example, it's pretty hard to get to it, maybe even impossible. Try to remove some blocks from the chassis to make it more accessible. That may help. Also, a rework of this car is incoming, these issues may be solved there.
