Hi everyone! Due to other commitment I will not be able to maintain this mod. If anyone wishes to use the art, textures, code or ideas in this mod please feel free. If you want some of the art files feel free to message me as I may still have some of the original PSD work. Perhaps the White Scars will find a new homeworld.

Greetings Commander, welcome to White Scars Chapter Approved. This mod introduces new gameplay as the venerable White Scars chapter of Space Marines. It is my attempt to build a unique Space Marine experience for Gladius players.

**NOTES**
This mod is still supported as of January 2021, but I'm working on other projects and do not have time to playtest and check for bugs that may come with game patches. If you find any issues please let me know and I will fix them.

**COMPATIBILITY**
This mod is compatible with Brother Severus’ amazing White Scars mod. If you want to kit your army in the full glory of White Scar color and heraldry please download Brother Sevarus’ Chapters Of The Imperium and place it above “+Chapter Approved+White Scars Textures” in the Mod queue. Check out his workshop for more great Space Marine mods.

**INSTRUCTIONS**
I want Borther Sevarus' awesome skins = subscribe and download Chapters Of The Imperium and place it above +Chapter Approved+White Scars and +Chapter Approved+White Scars Textures in the mod list.
I want to use the default Space Marine skins = place +Chapter Approved+White Scars Textures above +Chapter Approved+White Scars in your mod list.
I want to use the new custom White Scars skins= place +Chapter Approved+White Scars above Brother Sevarus' Chapters Of The Imperium mod and +Chapter Approved+White Scars Texture in your mod list.

ANGELS OF DEATH
All infantry, bikes and dreadnought start with Angels of Death, a suite of traits that are:

And They Shall Know No Fear - 33% less morale loss.

Shock Assault - this is a brand new mechanic that attempts to capture the impact of a Space Marine charge that we see on the table top. A melee unit that starts it’s turn a hex distance from the enemy gains +0.5 attacks/model that turn, Dreadnaughts and Heroes gain +1 attack. This replaces Hammer of Wrath.

Bolter Discipline - a Space Marine gunline is the stuff of legends; this mechanic gives Tactical and Sternguard squads the ability to rapid fire at any range so long as they remain stationary this turn. Scout Bikers have this ability as well but they can move and benefit due to being vehicles.

Give No Quarter- it was a difficult choice to make a mechanic from scratch but I wanted to capture the essence of the Space Marine durability in the face of innumerable foes without just increasing HP or point values. This skill gives Space Marine infantry a +2 armor if they remain stationary that turn.

THE FIFTH LEGION
The White Scars are masters of lightning fast assault that leave their enemies no time to prepare or retaliate.
These modifications were inspired by the rules and gameplay of White Scars on the table top.

STARTING UNITS: Two Scout Bikers

SKILLS AND UPGRADES

* Lighting Assault - the White Scars are known for their ferocious speed. All melee units have a skill that provides an extra +1 move if they are within 1 hex of an enemy. This allows the player to close the distance and gain better positioning in close combat without improving the normal movement speed of White Scar troops.

* Mechanized - allow infantry to summon a Razorback on a city tile (one charge).

* Devastating Charge - a unit that performs Shock Assault gains bonus to damage.

* Lighting Debarkation - makes the Razorback an assault vehicle.

* Encirclement - This chapter tactic attempts to capture the scalpel precision of a White Scar assault. When active it gives all units +2 accuracy and the ability to ignore enemy zone of control IF they are adjacent to an ally and an enemy unit.

* Wind Swift - a chapter tactic that gives all Tanks +1 movement.

NEW UNITS
* Khan - the White Scar Captain on Bike that can summon a Cyber Eagle scout and has bonus damage against tanks and monsters.

* Stormseer - a Librarian of the White Scar Brotherhood that can summon storms to pin enemies and block line of sight, empower allies with power of the storm while decimating flyer in the sky.

* Chaplain - a jump-pack equipped zealot that crushes foes and empower his Chapter.

* Champion - a deadly and tough swordmaster that seeks to challenge enemy leadership.

* Terminator Chaplain - a tough unit that empower and heals nearby allies.

* Sternguard Veterans - a unit of veteran space marines equipped with special issue boltguns.

* Vanguard Veterans - a unit of veteran Space Marines equipped with jump packs and relic blades that will slice though anything on the charge.

* Assault Termintors - a unit of space marines in Terminator armor armed with lightning claws. Excel at killing groups of enemies and can do significant damage on the charge.

* Sternguard Eradicators - a unit of veterans equipped with short ranged but deadly combi-melta weapons.

Hey, great mod. Thought you should know the Devastator doctrine does not affect the merged devastator squads.

@dexgattaca pardon me my lord, i have faced a crash problem when activating orbital strike ability of hero unit Khan, and it happened every time. Is it a bug belongs to ur great mod or something else? Can it be fixed?

ive had a couple of crashes when trying to use the special abilities of the Chaplain but otherwise a really enjoyable mod
