TF2 No_Light Maps! (READ DESCRIPTION)

Description
DISCLAIMER: Steam Download is dud, since SFM can't understand the converted maps for some reason. Because of this use this link to be able to access the maps properly, as well as download individual ones manually. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WJe9zoHp7fX06MUAFbQaNW9DA3Vso-kz?usp=sharing
If any bugs or problems occur, please report them to either TJ or Red via adding them on Steam.

This pack allows you to create custom lighting on any TF2 map in the tf folder of SFM. Create stunning pieces using this pack at your wim, the creativity is endless!

Super special thank you to RedMser for allowing me to use his creation, Light Deleter, to make this pack!

More about Light Deleter: Light deleter is a tool that allows a user to convert a .bsp into a .bsp with no lights, at all. Simply follow the directions and you will be good to go. Link to Light Deleter: https://sfmlab.com/project/26017/

Bugs:
  • Certain props in a map may be illuminated even when there isn't a light source illuminating it. This is called self illumination, the most common solution to this problem would be to simply restart SFM and reopen the map. If the self-illum bug is still there, try and cover up the prop or pan the camera in a position that doesn't have it in the scene.
  • Fog is being enabled on maps is one common issue that people encounter. This can be removed by simply running the .cmd inside the LightDeleter.exe folder and inserting the command line
--fog "enabled;0", which removes all fog from the map entirely.
  • Skyboxes stay the same even after conversion. To change a skybox, simply insert the command line --skybox sky_nightfall_01 or any name of a skybox. A list of all possible skyboxes can be found here
  • Increasing FOV above a certain threshold causes the light to malfunction and not appear to produce light. As of time of writing, there is no solution to this problem, as this is an error with SFM internally.
  • max_distance or far_z_atten do not work, only appearing to create more of a problem than a solution by making certain patches appear unlit, even when close to the light source. As of time of writing, there is no solution to this problem, as this is an error with SFM internally.
  • Cubemaps are still bright. Simply type mat_fastspecular 0 in SFM's console to disable them.

mind if i port this to Garry's Mod? there's a lot of equally good artists there that could use these maps.
