Description




HALCYZOM Armaments, Your family (un)friendly resource of the highest technology weaponry!
This mod aims to add several "Elemental" weapons to the game, each with it's own distinct special effect.



The mod currently adds a couple of new weapons:
  • Thunderpound: Capable of unleashing potent and highly chaotic electromagnetic pulses, which can disorient and stun mechanoid and animal alike.
  • Plasmabolter: Heavy mining implement redesigned to be handheld, can shoot plasma beams and wreck buildings!.
  • Cryoblaster: Make your enemies succumb to hypothermia and break to pieces with this powerful cryogenic device.
  • Sonic Shredder: An implement of auditory suffering. Assail your enemies with terrible music that both dazes and beats them!
  • Problem Dissolver: The easy way to make your worries disappear in a bath of corrosive chemicals!
  • Homicide Applicator: From pest to man, apply a veritable cocktail of toxins! Proven to be more effective than all forms of -cide!

They can be purchased on HALCYZOM's own orbital trader ships, or created via the fabrication bench with HALCYZOM's implicit approval (and contract to advertise for the firm).



Mod is currently dependent on Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Lasers. We intend to make the mod only dependent on Vanilla Expanded Framework. We will soon follow up with a fix as this requires some code changes.



Where do i get those weapons?
They will be sold by HALCYZOM orbital traders, or you may create them at a Fabrication Bench.

Is it 1.3 compatible?
Yes.

What's the load order?
After Harmony, Rimworld + DLCs, and Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Lasers

Is this compatible with CE?
Nope. If you'd like to make a port for the mod, please get in contact!

• Cryoblaster now properly creates frozen trees

Hello folks!
1.5 Kinda caught me by surprise- to be fair, I wasn't expecting any new updates for the game after 1.4.
As far as i'm aware, Zomuro, the original programmer for the mod, has since fully moved away from rimworld modding. I'm in the process of finding a new programmer willing to work on the mod, as I myself have no C# knowledge. The mod hasn't been updated to 1.4 yet as Zomuro was moving to other projects during this time, and I much the same was working on other projects, and didn't give much mind to it.
It is possible that, in the future, a new update may arrive- if it does, it will probably include the new content that I've been planning, but I can't make any promises.

If you're interested in picking the mod up for an update, contact me personally for details.

Hey there!
Thank you everyone for the feedback, it's very well received.
Unfortunately both me & Zomuro have gotten full plates on our hands with work and whatnot! We do have a planned update to bring everything to 1.4 with loads of additional content, we just really haven't had the time to work on it, unfortunately.

hey, you should tone down the cool down on the plasmabolter, it seems WAY too high

hey, is it normal for the plasmabolter to have the same textures as one of the weapons from Mechalit Faction v2? if not then, i may have found a conflict but i'm posting this here cause i'm not 100% if its a bug...
