Description

A VTOL patrol drone.
⨴ In VTOL mode, the craft will self-stabilise and adopt a low movement speed, allowing you to focus on controlling the turret.
⨴ In cruise mode, it is recommended to face the turret forward and use it like any fixed-forward cannon.
⨴ Low timescales may cause problems with the crossbow turret.

As the Excalibur Initiative built up steam and manufacturing technology marched on, Nadia's existing patrol vehicles were viewed as increasingly irrelevant. Nanite Systems sought to improve on their offerings with the Glatisant II. Where its predecessor fell short meeting manufacturability goals, years of experience allowed NS to deliver a significantly cheaper and simpler vehicle, and it was quickly taken up by the military.

They became a common sight over the skies of the Republic, allegedly to provide more concrete assurances to the people that they were doing something about the Auraxian threat. Mostly they just caused complaints about increased surveillance and derision over their odd appearance.

Built because the Glatisant I sorely needed replacing.
What this version lacks in raw firepower it makes up for in... basically every other category, such as cost, ease of use, speed, and maneuverability.

The Glatisant II swaps out the cannon turret for a crossbow turret, ditches the main propeller turbines, and adds a proper stabilisation system for VTOL and CAS operations.
Crossbow turrets are effective against level entities and light vehicles.

I attempted to design a completely different craft to replace the Glatisant originally, but it turns out that its basic configuration was already pretty much an optimal solution.

There are a few fit-and-finish issues, as this was the first surface-based aircraft I managed to make work.

Harassers are offensive support craft.
They loiter around the battlefield for extended periods, tying up adversaries so other units can dispose of them and providing coordinated support for allied forces on the ground. They're focused on endurance and survivability, and usually equipped with lighter weaponry.
