'IJborg' Multipurpose and container vessel

Description
The first vessel to roll off the MPJ shipyards slipway! The IJborg (callsign PCEL, registered in the Dutch port of Delfzijl) is is inspired by multiple Dutch build general cargo vessels. This particular vessel sails for Wagenborg Shipping for the transport of containers and general cargo. This ship was not build to be a pretty face, as she is to haul cargo around the isles in the mercyless waters ranging from the Sawyer island to the cold unforgiving ice-infested waters up north. The ships time in the trade has left the paint chipped and here and there somewhat faded.

Technical background:

The IJborg is designed to carry 16 v1.0 containers inside the two holds. The holds are closed off by folding hatches, and can be opened with the hatch controls in front of the accomodation. Inside the deck office are controls for the release of the container connectors, as well as ballast control for the 7 ballast tanks

The ship is propelled by 6 large diesel engines, the ship can achieve a speed of up to 13.5 m/s (no cargo), with fuel lasting about 4 (real time) hours, more than enough to get around! No complex startup procedures, just start the engines with the push of a button and go! In the engine room an automatic generator is placed next to the main engine. Inside the engine room I placed my 6 cylinder in line diesel engine which is also available on the workshop.

Note that I used the Stormworks Ultimate Modded Components Collection by pjschloth on this creation. While installing this is not necessary, it will make the ship look more detailed overall.

Ballast and stability

The IJborg has 7 ballast tanks to keep the ship stable at all times. The controls for the system are found in the deck office. Without cargo the ship will be mostly stable, but pay attention when fuel starts to run out as the stability will decrease. In this case fill the ballast tanks (partially) to compensate for the loss of weight in the bottom. When sailing in heavy weather conditions without cargo fill atleast the aft ballast tanks to make sure the propeller stays underwater at all times.
