[v1.12.5] TIP Vol. II

Description
Welcome to TIP Vol. II

Warning! This mod is designed for the v1.12.5 (Scythe) version of the game.

The aim of this mod is to improve the history database, correct bugs and localization errors, and add new and interesting content to the game - this includes new historical playable characters, new counties and duchies in Europe, and new religions and cultures.

I've been posting suggestions and bug reports steadily since the game was released, and those have formed the bulk of the content so far, alongside interesting ideas and fixes posted by other members of the CK III community.

For a broader overview of featured content and changes, please see the Features thread in the Discussions tab above.

I hope you enjoy TIP. Please feel free to post any feedback or suggestions below.

Important!

Due to the wide array of changes and additions in TIP, it is not compatible with most other gameplay mods. Whilst certain aesthetic mods are fine, using TIP with a mod that adds or changes vanilla gameplay mechanics is very likely to break one or both mods.

Please do not ask me questions about mod compatibility, and do not report any problems if you have any other mods enabled. Thank you.

@Cole, from my understanding the creator of the mod doesn't really mod much or play CK3 much anymore

@Irisiane i dont know why someone would expect me to use a heavily outdated expansion though. it looks cool, but if the features of it could be allocated into many seperate mods, it could help with the update process, and would show what people like the most, the feedback being, the features in seperate mods being used more are better, and used less are worse. although i dont know much about modding, i do know a bit about planning ahead, and if they wanted to help keep it up to date, they could do this feedback style test thing, splitting mechanics and flavor of the mod into multiple sectors.

I don't know, possibly. It's a lot of work updating for new patches, and interest in the mod has (understandably, I suppose) waned. Given the workload, I don't know whether it's worth me putting the time in. I certainly wouldn't update for the new expanded world map, but I've considered updating for Crown.

It’s cool that you’re still updating this mod, will v1.12.5, be the final game version you’re going to update to?

Okay, v5.4 is up - this is one of the biggest updates I've ever done, and it ended up taking over a month. I've added a lot of stuff from the to-do list, as well as a bunch of suggestions that have been posted here. There's a lot in this one, although the bulk of the update is a revamp of the Byzantine Empire in both scenarios, and a lot of associated content relating to that.

I hope you enjoy what's been added. It was certainly a lot of work.

Possibly - I'll have to look into it. I've modded most things in this game, but one of the few things I haven't done is physically modified the map; this is why (for example) the Andaman Islands aren't playable (yet), even though it's something I'm not opposed to adding. I'd also like to add Great Permia to the map; it was in CK2 as I recall, but the region is wasteland in CK3.

I'd have to speak to someone who's done map modding.
