baroSOMA is a Total Conversion of Barotrauma into Frictional Games' survival horror "SOMA".
It replaces all monsters, missions, music, portraits, and events with custom-rendered sprites from the original game itself. All of the NPCs are fully voice acted/vocalized, making encounters in this mod truly one of a kind.

The current version of the mod is an early work in progress, with a large amount of features and additions yet to come.


K-8 (KATE)

This is one of the 2 drones that can be found near wrecks or ruins. They are passive light-projecting robots that can be harvested for their Structure Gel.

WAU Crawler

A fusion of man and machine. These hostile robots will target the doors of your sub and break inside very quickly if you don't stop them.

Construct

These brutish robots take the place of Mudraptors. They have a substantial amount of health, and pack a punch, so take them down before they get inside your sub.


Structure Gel

The Black Blood of the WAU. (Partially implemented) Structure Gel can be planted to produce unique 'pet-like' machines known as Solipsist Spiders.
