[WOTC] ADVENT Armor: LWOTC Edition

Description
This mod is a series of config files, some localization changes and one new ability, intended to be run with NightNinja54's Advent Armor mod series and Long War of the Chosen. My Pathfinder Armor and Pathfinder Hunter Armor are not touched by any of these configs. Of course, since almost everything in this mod is straight configs, almost all of it can be configured by the user as well.

Here's a rundown of what this mod does:
  • Sets up its own XCom_Customize_This_Mod.ini. This particular one includes changes for all 5 of NightNinja54's current Advent Armors. Some stats are tweaked, most notably a nerf across the board to the Deception ability. 50% detection radius reduction is way too powerful in the LWOTC setting, especially on a stealth-build Shinobi. Some abilities are swapped out as well. See this Discussion thread for details on how much or how little each armor changed.

  • Has an XComLW_InfiltrationSettings.ini to add infiltration values to each of the aforementioned 6 armors. Each one is slightly different based on how common the unit is and how suitable each one is for sneaking.

  • Includes a dedicated XComLW_Overhaul.ini to set up all of these armors for single builds, along with their costs and requirements. Also hides all of the squad upgrades.

  • Adds one new ability for the Purifier Armor. See the Discussion thread for details.

  • Localization changes for some of the armors and some of the abilities to reflect my changes or fix things like punctuation or capitalization errors.

You'll notice there is no XComSetup.ini. This is because all of the default values in those files are fine. Tweak those in the original mods if you need to.

Mod requirements:
  • Although you don't technically NEED all of the Advent Armors for this mod to function, the base Reverse Engineering mod is an absolute necessity. I do recommend using all of the armors too. You can always adjust them until you find the right balance for your game.
  • You'll need Mitzruti's Immolator + Chemthrower Abilities mod in order for the Purifier Armor's new ability to have full functionality, but it's not a hard requirement for this mod to run.
  • LWOTC isn't a hard requirement, if you just for example want the new Purifier Armor ability. The LWOTC configs won't mess with your game. You may need to do more stat tweaking though, as the mod is balanced with LWOTC in mind.
(Please note that all of my personal testing has been with LWOTC.)

Known issues:
  • None that I know of. This mod is super lightweight and simple.
If you run into bugs, bring them to my attention and I'll try my best to fix them. You can give me balance feedback if you want, but everything's configurable, so I'm not likely to change that sort of thing for this particular mod.

Conflicts:
The only conflicts are the intentional kind: this mod will override all configurations in NightNinja54's Advent Armor mods that are contained within those mods' XCom_Customize_This_Mod.ini files that are different than the ones here. It will also override some localizations from those mods.

Future plans:
  • If any more Advent Armor mods pop up by anyone other than myself that are paired with the Reverse Engineering mod, I'll add LWOTC configs for them here. Other than that, just bug fixing.

Credits:
  • NightNinja54 for making the Advent Armor and Reverse Engineering mods, which are the only reason for this mod existing.
  • The LWOTC team for making LWOTC, which is the only other reason for this mod existing.
  • Mitzruti for making the Immolator mod, which inspired the Purifier Armor's new ability.
(If I need to credit anyone else, let me know and I will do so ASAP.)

Hello. It turned out that when using the "[WOTC] Rusty's Armor Category Tweaks" mod, the added armor cannot be worn by characters.
Sorry for my English.

Hello!
Would it be possible that I reuse (with credit) part of your code to create a "Covert infiltration" version?
I'm mostly interested by the localisation correction. (And slightly how you did the armour modification)

For those who can't give their units armour, try giving it to the Skirmisher unit, seems like that's the only class that can equip it

I cannot give any of my units the armor i made, at all.

my expendeble minions are unable to equip any variety of advent armour, any one else have this issue?

Darn. Well, 'influencing predator armor' is at least a series of words that has never been written before.

Predator armor should not be influenced in any way by this.

This doesn't get rid of Predator Armor, does it? I have it researched, but it doesn't appear on the build list. It's been fun just using these ones though... although somewhat limiting.

WarBandit, you likely are using Unrestricted Customization with global appearance.

On the loadout screen, if I change from regular kevlar armor to advent armor, the soldier's appearance never changes. His stats and abilities are working as intended, but not the appearance. Any ideas?
