Description
This is a Heavy Lift Reforged Eden Project conversion of JRandall's Skaar-Cerberus-T4, links below.

CV Size Class 9, Unlock Level 25, CPU Tier 4, made in v1.2.3 & Reforged Eden v1.0 (not tested in v1.2 yet)
Primary roles: Survival, Storage, Hangar, Farming, Warp, Shield, Drone Hatch.

Rated to lift 5.54kt of cargo using Vertical Thrusters only from 5.10g planet surface at 16m/s approx.*.

Warp core and Generators armour significantly increased, slight increase in armour all round.

Whilst not designed for combat, it should be able to defend itself whilst you consider your next move.

Design choices:
1. Retain the incredible lift capability.
2. Try to make as few changes as possible.
3. Mark where any changes 'had' to be made to meet CPU limitations.
4. Make it hard to notice where changes had to be made, especially externally.

In order to meet CPU constraints I;
Removed all player fired weapons (CV's in REP tend to be a bit slow to turn),
Reduced the number of turrets,
Downgraded both the Warp Core and Shield Generator,
Removed 2 Advanced Constructors.

To improve Warp core and Generator protection I added more Combat Steel.
Overall protection improved by ensuring Hardened Steel behind the outer skin of Combat Steel.

To maintain the impressive vertical lift capacity I replaced the 8 Large Enclosed Thrusters
(whose 520MN thrust only allowed a 7m/s vertical speed to the 17.9kt vessel in 0.96g)
with 4 Drive Thrusters plus 6 Large Enclosed Thrusters
(whose 1330MN maximum thrust allows 63m/s vertical speed to the 21.1kt vessel in 0.96g).

* Use caution with the Maximum lift, you may damage your Generators, so be prepared to repair!

Suggestions.
Not visiting 5g planets? Swap out or just remove some of the vertical thrust engines.
Want more turrets or to upgrade some items, remove one of the Advanced Constructors.
Don't forget that adding crew DOES increase spare CPU...
Consider adding a secondary pilot seet in Engingeering.

I have enjoyed JRandall's work for quite some time now, thank you Sir.

I only started playing Vermillion's and ravien_ff's Reforged Eden Project Scenario recently but I find myself altering many vanilla builds for it.

I hope you find this build useful, even if it serves only as a starting point for you to design your own version.

Many thanks for the compliment. Gosh I seem to be grinning a lot.

I had arrived at the point in my single player game that the Cerberus looked like a good next vessel for me. That is why I did this refit and why I have refitted many of your other craft, to actively use them.
I was working on a customised version where I felt freer to alter a few things, but I hear that Reforged Eden v1.2 has arrived, so I will be playing through that first.

I have refitted many of your craft as I like your build style.
Oh and it is pronounced Apa seall (as in the fish eating ball juggling creatures of the sea).
