Ever Wanted More Tranqs?
More Tranq Items seeks to add both a sense of progression to tranquilizing items, as well as an improved arsenal of such items, allowing varied taming methods on top of the typical vanilla "shoot to tranq" tactic.

Types of Items Added
Narcotic - more potent narcotics
Tranq Arrows - work just like standard tranq arrows; can be loaded into a bow, crossbow, or compound bow; experimenting with balancing and what item is recovered on pickup (currently, you can pick the tranq arrows up after firing, but in the future, they may drop a tranq level upon retrieval)
Tranq Metal Arrows - work similarly to standard arrows; can be loaded into a compound bow
Tranq Darts - work just like standard tranq darts; can be loaded into a longneck rifle
Tranq Shocking Darts - work just like standard shocking tranq darts; can be loaded into a longneck rifle; modded darts expire to the tier below them
Tranq Spear Bolts - work underwater, can be loaded into a harpoon launcher
Tranq Rockets - deals reduced damage; applies both standard and raid torpor; rockets are still quite dangerous to standard tames
Tranq Grenades - deals no damage and applies torpor in an AoE, to dinos and players alike
Tranq Traps - like the Tripwire Narcotic Trap, but allows taming of dinos knocked out by it
Dino-Heal - heals your dino over time
Tek Tranq Phase Pistol - replaces the stun firing mode with a tranq firing mode; displays nearby creatures\' torpor

MkI - Chartreuse-colored
Consumable effectiveness - ~1x vanilla effectiveness
Projectile effectiveness - ~1x vanilla effectiveness

MkII - Lime-colored
Consumable effectiveness - ~2x vanilla effectiveness
Projectile effectiveness - ~1.8x vanilla effectiveness

MkIII - Teal-colored
Consumable effectiveness - ~4x vanilla effectiveness
Projectile effectiveness - ~2.9x vanilla effectiveness

MkIV - Cyan-colored
Consumable effectiveness - ~8x vanilla effectiveness
Projectile effectiveness - ~4.2x vanilla effectiveness

MkV - Blue-colored
Consumable effectiveness - ~16x vanilla effectiveness
Projectile effectiveness - ~5.7x vanilla effectiveness

Known Bugs
None!

Applied Fixes
Tek Tranq Phase Pistol and Tranq Rockets were not craftable in the Tranq Crafter.
Tranq Rockets had the wrong crafting recipe.

@Dj Jysbs I haven't modified any of the vanilla items. The MKII-MKV items have scaling multipliers of the vanilla values, listed in the above description. The multipliers aren't particularly high, capping out at ~5.7x vanilla values at MKV.

hello i was wondering if its possible to change the tranq tek pistol as its torpor does not feel worth of its curse as a mk3 narcotic on a ascendent longneck does more topor per minute

@Pyroticus, @khisanth The answer is yes, though I don't have an estimation as to when I'd have it ported. It'll also probably be in chunks, starting with the more standard items.

With that being said, I need better storage for my PC first. As it already takes ~2 hours for the ASE devkit to open, I dread trying to open the ASA devkit. So, I'll probably start the porting sometime in the next couple of months, once I can get that taken care of.

also wondering the same about asa porting, what i really love in this mod was the sense of progression and the balance of crafting cost making use of some ressource that we do not use a lot which make use explore some specific biome to gather them.
