Description
The RAKKI Mk II Point Defense Interceptor is a short-range single-seat spacefighter-craft, intended for point defense- and area denial tactics. Classified as an interceptor, the RAKKI is fast and agile, but lacks in protection and armament to remain in prolonged combat. Due to its limited capacities, the vessel requires a homebase or mothership for resuppliement.

Following the success of the original vessel, the Mk II was outfitted with multiple of the new small hydrogen tanks and additional thrusters to make up for it's lack of armor. The old optical guided Ion-missiles were replaced by a single hydrogen driven RGM-S.IM-02 Guided Interceptor Missile that can be printed directly on the ship from a projector, making the vessel more potent in engaging hostile fast movers.

To incorporate the additional tanks, all auxillary ion-thrusters have been disbanded. So the RAKKI Mk II relies on a stable supply of fuel from a base or mothership to stay operational. Be advised that the ship does not come with an onboard O2/H2-Generator, so it is strongly recommended to construct this ship above a connector with fuel-access!


This item is survival-ready! It is fully conveyor-linked, thruster-damage compatible and uses no mods and no subgrids! Be advised! Scripts need to be active in your game if you want to use the missile. Both LAMP and WHAM are mandatory to operate it. It's also highly recommended to read this Guide before mess around with it.

Hey @Averrod,
Sounds like a permission error from printing the blueprint. Double-check that all blocks have the correct ownership, then set up the programmable block commands again, as listed in the description. If you still face issues, please refer to the WHAM & LAMP documentation.

You got it right :)
I've been naming my ships in this collection after creatures and items from various sources of norse mythology. The fighters were to be named after dogs and wolves. This one however started out as a commission for a friend of mine and was supposed to receive a completely different name, so I simply refered to this project as the 'Rakki'. Unfortunately my friend didn't like the finished ship, so I eventually integrated it into the V.M.E-lineup and just kept the name.
