Description
3 slot starter. $25k credits, 6k iron, and 1.2k titanium to construct.

The Centurion fast patrol craft was developed late in the General War and deployed from dedicated "patrol craft tenders" or fixed installations.

Inexpensive and easy to replace, large flotillas of Centurion warships were used to overwhelm larger targets the Federation could not afford to replace.

Later advances in offensive and defensive technologies during the Xsotan conflict rendered small craft tactics obsolete. Unable to remain long enough in a firefight or carry enough firepower to deter Xsotan Hunters and Sentinels, the Centurion has been relegated to defending shipping lanes from more traditional galactic threats.
