Ilha de São Vicente

Description
Ilha de São Vicente
0.4 - still early beta, perhaps indefinitely while waiting for replacement gpu in this gpu drought

This is a very playable map of the island of São Vicente and surrounds, which is the location of Santos, Brasil. Of all the linked assets you might want (there will be a collection once I get "out of beta"), the map theme is probably the most valuable. The rest are (currently, at least) just vegetation.

Regards the canals and cycle routes, I leave them as options to build in. They are a prominent feature in Santos and a primary means of knowing/telling others where you are on the beach ("Estou no canal tres", for example). There is also a project to put in a modern literail, and a very old trolley system that is still used for tours, that people could add if they were interested.
The highway is not wide enough to support a canal, but its terminus is meant to encourage starting a canal there .. it may need to be a bit wider, it does not fill in with water perhaps because it is too narrow.
I'm not from Brazil but I am looking to retire there. I lived there about 2 months the beginning of this year, including more than a month in Gonzaga (in Santos).

hi r0xjo0! this is thanksgiving holiday here, (yesterday now was thanksgiving day) so happy holidays. Thank you for the feedback and doing this! I will follow through as described... I have been putting my play on pause right now in hopes of upgrading my gaming setup , but gpus have not come through for me so I might as well get to it.
Thanks for the tip about the bridges, I think this is the biggest takeaway for me.

Per your request, I am checking your map. Play test of mine in return. I added the Japanese Monument per request. First observation of your map - your bridges are too low. Raise them. Your shipping routes are at sharp angles and need smoothed. Use the move it mod to align all of your road to the same heights. Then you can use the smooth tool to fix any rough edges. Work on your roads and bridges. I like your tree mix. Try to add a couple of different looking biomes by using certain trees only in certain areas. All of your trees are spread through the entire map. Keeping a few types in some clusters will make you have some interesting feature areas that will make your map pop. I think it would be cool if you focused on adding the canal work to differentiate it from my map. Two of your highway connections are right by one another. Consider adding one on the East side.

Your main beach looks slick. Nice sand work I also like your small island and rock detailing. Are you from Brazil?
