Diesel Electric, easy to control container stacker, that can be spawned at the train depot.
The gripper arm spawns compacted and and be spread out after leaving the depot.
Fits within the footprint of a standard container, although a bit higher.

Being an diesel electric, it's easy to move back and forth, no gear changes required.

Diesel engine runs automatically when the battery drops below 50%.

Usage:
Press 1 to unfold the container arms.
Press 2 to activate the container connectors.
Press 3 to extend the arm.
Press 4 to retract the arm.

Side strafe by holding left/right, and w/s together.

Note: It's possible to tip over at some angles, with the arm fully extended, add more weight to the back if you need more horizontal reach.

hey author, just wana say your container crane is the best one iv seen in my opinion, and with the train set i just finished i chose to make a custom flatbed for it to be brought along on rail trips as it will be greatly helpful when trying to move containers from place to place

My Go-To container handler! Reliable, nimble, and hybrid! Love the strafe feature, a lifesaver sometimes!

@Qtan I'm happy enough with the acceleration, too much acceleration will just cause it to topple over while carrying a container anyway.
I probably won't add suspension, it's really only designed to work well on flat terrain, like that around the train station or other bases.
Feel free to fork/copy it and publish your own version with the changes you would like to see.

Very very nice, simple and cheap but I just would like to see suspensions and better performance to do that you can basicly add a smaller gear to in front of the motors to make it fast accelerating but slower top speed. Think about that. That would be very helpfull when loading containers.
