Description

Prometheus:
(/prəˈmiːθiəs/; Ancient Greek: Προμηθεύς, [promɛːtʰéu̯s], possibly meaning "forethought") In Greek mythology, the Titan Prometheus had a reputation as being something of a clever trickster and he famously gave the human race the gift of fire and the skill of metalwork, an action for which he was punished by Zeus, who ensured everyday that an eagle ate the liver of the Titan as he was helplessly chained to a rock.

Being a curious person I’ve been constantly looking for something that would refresh my vision and once I’ve seen this diverse collection of Ancient Greek vases during my trip to Greece I knew, this is it. The weaves and stories depicted on these vases affected me a lot.
Since then, I’ve started to develop the main idea for the collection that was based on the texture itself. And the vibe I got from these Ancient Greek vases is something I wanted to express in this collection.

Having the main basis made of realistic materials I decided to diversify this idea with various myths and stories of Ancient Greece. I tried to pick myths that would suit the CS:GO world.
That’s the way I see Prometheus, who’s running away with fire – he’s the bomb planter. Minotaur's' labyrinth is a map that is the labyrinth itself. Pandora's box is an opener for cases. And The Trojan Horse is the moment when the enemy hides behind your back and gets the info to prepare his attack, and you cannot see him even though he’s right here all along.
And of course I wanted to draw a real masterpiece, like Arachne. It made me so inspired that it was a pure pleasure to draw all these designs.
