*** About Weapon Scripts ***
Scripts aim to match as close to real world specs as feasible. Exotic weapons (like those from other games) may have some liberties taken.

Adjustments include weight, recoil/spread, magazine size, rate of fire, effective range/falloff range, AI preference, and penetration depth/stats.

Damage, rate of fire, and player movement speed may be adjusted up or down.

To keep in line with vanilla gameplay and prevent OP, damage is adjusted accordingly:
  • Damage adjusted up/down (typically up) when needed to keep in tune with the original game stats.
  • Damage per magazine is favored over DPS, since rate of fire changes make DPS incomparable to vanilla.
IE: Silenced Uzi has 50 round/mag at X damage. When magazine capacity is lowered to match the Honey Badger's, damage is adjusted up to match the vanilla's damage per *magazine* as Honey Badger's rate of fire adjustment against vanilla makes DPS comparisons invalid.

I went trough the process of retrying several matches with both MP5 scripts to see what you meant, and ended up noticing that my dumb brain never actually turned on the MP5K's script when restarting the game, so I just kept using the MP5 one for all my attempts, and now the change is indeed noticeable

Apologies for the missunderstanding, I just was dumb and didn't realize it until after posting

To which AK-47 script are you referring?

The MP5K is lighter with more recoil and a higher rate of fire, also the weapon's effective range is much shorter due to a shorter barrel. It's ok with me if they aren't hugely noticable differences in game, as long as they match the weapon as closely as possible. If you think about it, I've never shot an MP5 or an MP5K, but I would expect them to be somewhat similar right?

Don't you think this script may be way too close to your normal AK-47 script?
The same happens with your recent MP5K script and your normal MP5 script, btw
The changes aren't really that noticeable
