GMD GP7 & GP9 - Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo

This mod adds a Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo GMD GP7 and GP9 to the game. This is a repaint of the generic EMD GP9 available in Transport Fever.

The Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo Railway (THB) was a Canadian railroad based in Hamilton that ran in Southern Ontario from 1892 to 1987. The railroad was purchased in 1895 and would be jointly owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) and the New York Central (NYC) for several decades. In 1977, CP Rail acquired NYC's portion of the railroad. Increased operating costs, and tighter margins meant the future of the railroad was in doubt. The THB was merged into the Canadian Pacific Railway on January 1, 1987.

In the 1950's, the Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo purchased seven GMD GP7's and three GMD GP9's. Built by General Motors Diesel Division (GMD) in London, Ontario, Canada, most of these engines lasted until the merger in 1987. About this time, the remaining engines were rebuilt as "U" versions (GP-7u and GP-9u).
