A few weeks after Scott Hall kicked off one of the biggest angles in wrestling history when he showed up on Monday Nitro in May 1996 and warned of a hostile takeover, Hall was joined by Kevin Nash, and the two former WWF stars challenged three of WCW's best to a match at Bash at the Beach, promising to bring a mystery partner. That partner turned out to be WCW's top star, Hulk Hogan, and the trio ran roughshod through WCW as the New World Order.

Hall and Nash captured tag team gold while in the nWo, and Nash captured five WCW World Heavyweight titles. He was the winner of the World War 3 battle royal in 1998.

After issues began emerging in the nWo between Nash and Hogan, issues with Hollywood Hogan, Nash broke away from the stable to form the nWo Wolfpac.

The nWo reformed after Hogan "defeated" Nash with the fingerpoke of doom in early 1999.

Nash stayed with WCW until the company closed, then rejoined the nWo in the WWF after Vince McMahon brought the group back during a feud with Ric Flair.

Nash's career after WCW has been marred with injuries, mostly to his legs. However, he wrestled in TNA for several years, notably winning two TNA Legends titles and joining forces with several other legends in the Main Event Mafia.

Nash returned to WWE for one last run in 2011, attacking CM Punk and allowing Alberto Del Rio to win the WWE Championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. Nash and Punk never got to feud, and Nash instead set his sights on Triple H. The feud culminated in a sledgehammer/ladder match at TLC.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as both an individual and as a member of the nWo.
