Operation Trident

Description
After a disastrous withdrawal of the surviving NATO troops from Stratis, British and US forces combine efforts in a coordinated operation to retake the island from AAF's hands, codenamed Operation 'Trident'.

Despite the initial withdrawal of the United Kingdom from peacekeeping duties with Task Force Aegis, as the situation has worsen in the island, the Parliament has decided to deploy an expeditionary force to support US troops in the conflict, in order to stop the influence of CSAT, now an important threat to NATO's position in the Mediterranean.

AAF forces are restoring their bases and artillery positions all around the island, in order to be ready for any counterattack by NATO forces, but as intelligence reports say, the process is being difficult for their logistic capabilities, and, although artillery units have already been deployed, there is only one AA operative position in the entire island, giving the US-UK combined force the opportunity to perform a fast air assault on the island, codenamed Operation 'Trident'

Mission
You are Lieutenant Finlay Allen, and you lead 'Bowman' section, 45 Commando. Your mission will be to land on the south of the island along 'Yeoman' section, secure enemy positions in the area and, most of all, neutralize a covert arillery position that may threaten the US landing to the north in a former NATO outpost, Camp Maxwell.

Features
- Reimagination of the 'East Wind' main plot to include more British participation in the conflict.
- Credible British and AAF equipments (no more too futuristic aesthetics for a small island-nation without a notable economy)
- Massive operation, involving moreless 100 units, but with no important performance impact.
- Usage of High Command module to have better control of the operation.

This may be the beginning of a short series of missions regarding the same conflict, from different NATO points of view. It will depend on the acceptance of this mission

excellent mission. only issue i had was the end wouldnt trigger after i cleared the camp. 10/10 would recommend.

I honestly love this scenario. I love how it takes place within the lore of the base game and how it does so while using community made content. I wish the base game came with as much stuff as the Apex mod but that's beside the point. A very well made mission made even better with countless immersion mods that I run. Keep up the good work!

It's most likely due to a conflicting keybind. You need to rebind the HC key comboor remove related combo from one of your mods.

Great job! I could'nt use High Command, though. Anybody knows why? Does it interfere with ACE?
