You will Start with 2 villagers just like the book/movie
To make it interesting you have a lot of resourcesand in the post imperial age, but the inability to build a Town Center so you can build up your force to fight or rush the enemies that are sparring in the battlefield

Dont worry about population you get offshore houses to save you the struggle
