Class description
Cargo vessels and support vessels have different subclasses. This vessel is a fast combat support ship (AOE) designed primarily for mining and transporting cargo in or near enemy territory. As such, it carries a limited suite of offensive and defensive weapons. Relatively high speeds for a transport ensures some evasive capabilities should the threat level increase beyond what the ship can muster.

The ship
The Fortitude was initially designed as a fast local replenishment ship, designed to follow fleets around and mine materials when near a resource zone. In practice it's also used independently, used in locations where there is still a chance of being attacked by enemy vessels. Other dedicated mining vessels such as the Surveyer and Prospector, despite having some offensive capabilities, do not have the firepower needed to stave off an attack. Fortitude fares a bit better in this regard, with a single main gun and two AA missile launchers. It also has flares and missile interceptors to defend against incoming projectiles. In high threat level environments however, it is still advised to have dedicated warships as a primary line of defence.

All these ships receive a propulsion which I think is befitting for the role and should have some logic behind it... High speed ships are only doable on a sleek, planing hull. This hull isn't sleek, nor designed for planing. In general, 21 m/s is already fast for a ship, although comparisons between real life and this game are a bit awkward.

The ship used to have 4 props to not be a slug, so you can add them back. They were positioned 3m away from the inner props at the same height, 3m ahead of the inner props. You'll have to cut down the power from the props though, I'm sure you'll get unwanted pitch effects you want to avoid.
