This mod is functional, but the chances and modifiers require tweaking for a balanced experience.

Feel like PvE is too much of a cake walk? That ignored bodily needs should face consequences?
This mods adds a simplified body function system, duration and severity of freezing, sweating, starvation and parching thirst are monitored alongside with exhaustion, hitpoints and corruption. If a characters vitals are neglected for too long, they may get sick. A sickness can come with various effects, such as periodic damage and/or reduced attributes. Untreated they last between 10-20 minutes, depending on the characters attributes and the contracted malady. Certains things give a penalties to health, like poison, bleeding debuffs or staying bloodstained. Blood needs to be washed off now. NEW! Depending on the climate, Weather and Daytime may affect temperatures.

In addition you can research remedies to speed up recovery, and for some diseases there is even protective medicine. Medicine should be stored cool, or it gets bad quickly. Regular resting is advised, sitting or sleeping reduces exhaustion and speeds up recovery from diseases. Refreshing beverages also help with exhaustion recovery. Sleeping longer than needed will give a Rested Buff that can last up to 3 Minutes and gives a small Grit Bonus. Sleeping also boosts heal regeneration a bit.

Also, some foods, like tea, phycos or berries i.e., provide a hidden nutrition buff that will reduce a character's chance to contract a disease, by a small margin. A good idea to boost some vitamins before engaging in strenuous tasks like long fights.

And lastly: Sprinting and climbing heats up the body, the weight of the armor worn impacts just how quickly it gets hot, that can be good in the cold, and very bad at the volcano. Agility affects the sprint speed and there will also be a minor healing effect active at all times, coming as compensation for the lost soothig buff. Strength will influence how fast a character can swim or climb. Grit will influence how fast you heat up from physical stress, as well as how much you heatup. It also determines just how quickly a character will wear out performing physical tasks, getting sore for too long may cause a lasting fatigue that needs to be slept off.

Individual Commands, set by players:
DataCMD Ill_Toggle, turns disease functions on or off for each character (default off)*
DataCMD Ill_Fatigue, toggles the Fatigue System on and off for individual players (default on)*
DataCMD Ill_Heal Toggles passive Healing on or off. Default is on. This is not a Server setting due to its minor impact (default on)
DataCMD Ill_Forecast shows the current weather conditions
DataCMD Ill_Widget <x> <y> will offset-position the Fatigue Widget more left or right, -103, 9 best for vanilla (default 0, 0)
*This only applies if the server is not enforcing those settings

Server Commands, set by Admins:
DataCMD Ill_Toggle_Server, makes the Server enforce dieasease for all players (default off)
DataCMD Ill_Fatigue_Server, makes the Server enforce fatigue for all players (default off)
DataCMD Ill_Set_Fatigue <x> Adjust the point of soreness Debuff, range 200-600, this IS a server wide setting (default 300)
DataCMD Ill_Plague <x>, sets an additional contraction penalty for the entire server, range 0-10, the higher the number, the more disease ridden playercharacters will be (default 0)
DataCMD Ill_Heat <x> Adjusts Heatup difficulty, range 0 to 5, (default 3)
DataCMD Ill_Clean, toggles the requirement to wash off blood on or off (default on)
DataCMD Ill_TempTimers <x>, set a delay to the build up check in seconds, range 1 to 5, (default 1)
DataCMD Ill_Weather <x> <y> sets the maximum impact of weather conditions, range 1to 30 for cold and sunny (defaults 15)

Sprint/Climb/Swim Speed can't be turned off.

This mod modifies no assets, but it replaces some healthy food items, so it should be applied after any mods that adjust stacksizes.

Indigestion (Being hungry below 40% for two Minutes, light corruption level or exposure to hot for more than 2 minutes, strongest contributers being low food and drink levels, being poisoned, Survival >25 prevents indigestions)
Cold ( Having Cold Debuff for 3 Minutes or extremecold for 90 Seconds, strongest contributers being cold and exhaustion)
Fever ( Being Cold for 5 minutes, or extreme cold for 2 minutes, having an Infection going, strongest contributers being cold)
Infection ( Being injured for 1 minute or severely injured for 45 seconds, strongest contributers being severe injury, injured and poisons)
Frost Burn (Being extremly Cold for 45 seconds, strongest contributers being extreme cold conditions)
Desert Fever (Being Hot for 180 seconds or extremely Hot for 90 seconds, strongest contributers being low thirst and extreme hot)
Flu (Being Cold for 2 Minutes or extreme Cold for 1 Minute, strongest contributers being low food and extreme cold)
Severe Malady (Being Cold or Injured for more than 3 Minutes, no particular contributer)

Fatigue (Increases from fighting, climbing, swimming, sprinting and harvesting, decreases from walking/jogging, sitting and sleeping)

Infections and over-encumberment will also increase fatigue over time, reaching the exhausted state will also boost fatigue ratings.
Since it is apparently not obvious for a survival game, the Survival Attribute influences ALL diseases.

If you happend to get the first sore debuff (which largely increases the chance of getting fatigued) and then get fatigue, fatigue will not wear off until you slept to full rest.

One last hint for people who complain that diseases seem to never end: If you don't rest, and instead fight, climb, harvest or do any other physical stress, the duration timer will go up instead of down, thus prolonging the disease! If you feel that is a waste of your time, you missed the point of this mod.

Hi Apollonia, I tried this mod a long time ago and it was one of my favorites but after chapter 4 it started to crash, chapter 4 broke too many mods :c, will there be any future update of the mod?
