Interesting Liberations v0.1

Description
General Information
Interesting Liberations is a mod focused on providing more diversity for empires that in vanilla use an exact copy of the civics of their overlord or liberator (think sectors that are released as vassal or empires created from status quo peace deals). This diversity is created by randomizing the civics of empires that are newly split off.
This mod is most interesting if you're playing tall and trying to balkanize the galaxy by creating vassals, liberating empires and so on.

Features
Implemented
  • Empires that are released as vassal from a sector will randomize their civics.

Work in progress
These features are the ones that I am currently working on
  • Nothing here right now.

To-do list
These features are on my to-do list, I'll go down this list and add them one by one.
  • Randomize civics of empires created from status-quo peace deals (vassalization, tributary, subsidiary, establish hegemony wargoals)

If you like this mod, please consider coming back and

Without rating this mod it's much harder for others to find it

Version and compatibility
This mod was originally created for Stellaris 2.8.1, but should work for all 2.x versions. Tested on Stellaris 2.8.1.

This mod only adds a few events to change empire civics, so it should be safe to add/remove to existing savegames. I don't suggest doing that though :)

Thanks to
- Hadrim for basically writing three (all probably better) versions of this when I asked a question :)

How you can help
I'm always looking for suggestions and bug reports, so if you have any, let me know in the mod discussions!

I have to admit it may have fallen off the bottom of the to-do list :steamsad:

Is it still on the todo list?

It should still work, but I'll put updating it on my todo list!

Any chance to see an update for this fine mod?
