Milwaukee Road Repaint Pack

In 1917, the Milwaukee Road ordered 5 EP-2s from General Electric following the 1915 electrification of the Mountain Division. The EP-2 initially ran on the Coast Division and came to symbolize the Olympian, the railroad's premier train. In 1953 EP-2 was rebuilt poorly and became prone to fires and failures. After 1954 the EP-2s saw less use and in 1957 they were transferred to the Mountain Divison and were gradually retired until the last EP-2 was retired in 1962.

The EF-4 was originally built for the Soviet Union by General Electric, but after the US State Department banned the sale they were sold to the Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad and the Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro in Brazil. During the Korean War, the Milwaukee road bought the remaining EF-4s and put them on the road's Rocky Mountain Division. They ran up until 1974 when the Milwaukee Road ended electric operation, they were the last electric locomotives in use with the Milwaukee Road
