Vikings and Other Dark Age Miniatures

The miniatures themselves are some I painted up a few years ago for SAGA. At first, I wanted some Dark Age miniatures to use in Mortem et Gloriam, a mass battle set of wargames rules which I play in TTS these days thanks to the pandemic, but I've also started playing SAGA again in TTS as well.

So far there are some spearmen, a few leaders, a couple of Huscarls with Danish Axes, and a few guys with various hand weapons. I will probably add a bit to this over time. I have Viking, Anglo-Dane, and Irish armies in my old SAGA collection.

I make my colliders nice and small which makes it easy to rank these up on multi-figure bases and mass battle games, but obviously, you could use these with SAGA, fantasy games, whatever you want.

I know there are some great digital original options already for the Dark Ages and Vikings, but I really like the look of minis produced via photogrammetry. There’s something magical about it for me. It makes me feel like I’m playing with real miniatures. I'll keep some stand ins from the other SAGA army mods in this one until I get my own minis in to replace them.

My bases for these guys are not clean at all, so please excuse the static grass when it is visible.
