@BorderKeeper Yeah that's one of the biggest issues I'm trying to solve. I'm thinking I'll have to manually make a new satmap, as I think increasing the range of the high-res surface textures would decrease performance too much.

The size is alright and I like this map, but what kills it for me is the mismatch between colors of the high-LOD terrain tiles from google maps and low-LOD terrain tiles from arma. Everything looks like snow from 100m and further compared to brown <100m. Anyways keep up the good work very nice for a first map

This is so amazing, I go by here on my way to uni and it’s so crazy to see in game. I’ve always wanted to make an Atlanta map in Arma but all the tutorials were so complex and outdated, especially if you’re a visual learner. I still hope one day I could figure out how. You’re amazing for making such an amazing map and I tip my hat to you.

you should add random placements of cartridge shells for west side bankhead hood immersion

its actually quite OK that this map is small, it could become very excellent in the future with improved satellite and detail terrain textures and overall fleshing out and improving detail of the map. arma could use more good maps set in urban areas of the united states / north america that aren't explicitly intended for roleplay servers.
it's a pretty good start!

@TWinters @Teufel Hun If I remember correctly the map is roughly 2km x 2km. The issue with trees and buildings in places they shouldn't be is a bug with the Terrain Builder. This was my first map so I wanted to start small, maybe ill expand upon it someday.

Really small map. A few spots with trees in the road, and a couple floating buildings. Better than most urban maps though, just wish it was bigger, and had some more props.
