Canadian Pacific AC4400CW No. 9782

Description
Canadian Pacific are one of the more prominent operators of the General Electric AC4400CW locomotive, with 438 of them on their roster. This one - No. 9782 - was built in September 2003.

9782 rose to fame (among railfans at least) in 2009 when she was chosen to star in the film Unstoppable. She was the 2nd of two engines re-painted in AWVR red to play the role of AWVR No. 777, the leading engine on a certain runaway train.

The film was released in 2010, and after this Canadian Pacific 9782 was re-painted back into CP red. Fortunately the locomotive is still in service today, although I dare say that - if you were out filming AC4400CW's in Canada - prior knowledge would be required to distinguish the Unstoppable stars from regular engines.
