Beskrivelse
"If I'm really doomed to roam through this decaying wasteland for all of eternity, you all gonna stay down here with me!"

The Wasteland Technical is an old G.CS-LUV-1 Light Utility Vehicle, that is utilizing some of the new DLC-blocks. Additionally it comes with an AA-Gun straped on its back.

This is a prop for creative mode and was not designed for survival. However, it is fairly easy to reproduce it, if you really want to. The turret is scriptless and therefore can be used without having 'experimental mode' enabled on your savegame/server.

To use the AA-turret, hop into the control-seat in the back and take control of the turrets remote-control (Toolbar 1: [1]). Now you have everything available to operate the guns. Both the turrets hinge and rotor are locked and have to be released once you've taken control over the remote-control block (Toolbar 1: [8], [9]), in order to move the turret! Remember to lock them both again before you leave the gunner seat. If the turret is not secured, it will wobble and rock arbitrarily as the vehicle moves, which can interfere with the rides stability. However, clearances are wide enough that this contraption should never summon clang. So it's safe to use with active block damage (but no garantee here. As always with moving parts, accidents can happen).

Tips and Tricks
  • If the turret feels either to twitchy or sluggish to you, find the AA-Gyro in the control-menu and adjust the strength to your preferences.
  • If you're playing solo, you can also pull down the AA-guns remote-control into your toolbar and operate the turret from the drivers seat.
  • The turrets lower limit is set to 0°, which is to ensure that unexperienced gunners won't accidently shred the roof off the rover when firing straight ahead. However, this makes it hard for the technical to engage ground-vehicles of similar or lower size in close proximity. To compensate for that, the AA-hinge's limits can be extended to significantly increase the vertical angle of engagement. You should know what you're doing, however. Serious risk of damaging the vehicle can occur if you don't watch your aim.
  • For survival, easiest way to recharge the battery on the vehicle is to build a rotor on ground-level to your base (with power-supply) and put a rotor-head between the headlights at the front of the vehicle. You will have to grind down the flat half armor-block, and replace it with a full one to fit the head onto it. Then move the vehicle towards the base's rotor until the head meets the center, attach it to the base and set the battery to recharge. (visual reference)

@Dawi Zharr: Projectors cannot project sub-grids. If you want to replicate the turret in survival, I recommend taking a separate blueprint of it and project it on the rotor-head.
However, Warfare 2 brought us the new Turret Controller block, which is superior to the gyro-controlled contraption I made for this vehicle.
I'll update the Technical once I have the time (lots of projects on my list), but until then, you're encouraged to design your own rotor-turret. The original will still work, though.

whats the configuration you have on that turret? my projector will only project the truck itself, without the turret attached
