"Arnaud was a former servant of the local aristocracy until the crimson curse took it's hold, the man that once was, found themselves running for their life in the swamps of the courtyard. With the gates locked and no way out they had resigned themselves to die starving and alone, yet upon a chance meeting, or perhaps after an untimely death, was the Hive truly born. Now devoted to undoing the masters they once served, the Hive organizes an underground movement of those that have been effected by the crimson curse, finding revenge or redemption, these people rally underneath the Hive's banner to unleash a revolution upon the world!"

The hives power is represented by the insects that make up his body. Playing him effectivly means managing his HP and curse status. Some of his abilities require him to send away a squadron of mosquitos, wich will cost him some HP, others revolve around keeping up the swarm by recollecing the blood. He specializes in extended skirmishes and sustaining himslef, while slowly taking over the battle with bleeds. As a revolutionary commander the hive has tools to setup for synergies with bleed characters and to buff anyone infected with the crimson curse.

Infestation
Hive can inflict a an "Infested" status upon the enemies by commanding a swarm to surround them. Whenever they attack they will be bled. When the swarm returns it heals & buffs the hives max hp. Any of its effects gets stronger, the longer the mosuiqtos have time to feast.

Stress Management
As a walking plague, he is not allowed to visit any town activities, but will recover signifiantly more idle Stress if well fed with blood. Some of his trinkets help you greatly while euipped in town, to manage his stress level and curse progression.

Prevents Nighttime Ambush

Hive is permanently infected with his own version if the Crimson Curse.
It has the same stages as the regular curse and benefits from effects that refere to curse stages. The hive has his curse much more under control, but his tranformation demands more blood. Feeding on the Blood while sated or in bloodlust provides some healing and substitutes the need of food. His curse stage further determines his stress healing in town and virtue chance.
Having become one with the curse also makes him immune to death by blood starvation.

Courtyard Outcast
As former servant of the court the Hive knows this place like no other. He is able to navigate the twisted marshed and can find camping logs on curios there. As a wanted revolutionary the Hive is permanently marked in Courtyard
