SmartDoor

Description
Automatic door that immediately closes and switches to manual if either side becomes flooded.

Simplistic design philosophy uses the fewest components possible.

Included hysteresis prevents glitches when standing near the motion sensor (the door does not go brrr)

That will make it glitch out when the water comes from the opposite side of the water detector.

Isn't it if the door will be open the water will be on both sides and it does not matter?

A water detector only takes the level of one hull even if it overlaps.

Damn, and I have been doing it manually. Thanks for the idea. To think about it, if you will place water detector at the bottom of the door you will need only one detector? Nevermind, I using different idea, my doors closes if there is flood and no human in doorway.

>I do have one question though, does your door close automatically if there's water and you left it open? Cause if not that is definitely a major flaw and I would not mind helping you fix it if you wanted.

The previous version did, the current one no longer does, but that's because I went from 5 components to 3. Before there was a single 0 signal that forced the door to close, but in the current version this is achieved by the knee-high water pushing the player away, so it achieves it anyway.

Holy cow man seeing all this love for your door is making me heavily consider uploading my own. I've created an absolute masterpiece that somewhat resembles your door's purpose. Based on how absolutely madlad crazy epic it turned out to be, I have dubbed it the "Perfect door". The door links into the pumps so I'll definitely need to upload and link the "with pumps" one in the description of it, as well as tell people which components need the signals to convert it to any other system besides water levels.

Anyways I am VERY impressed by how little components your door took, seeing as how mine took 10 components, and including the pumps (3 on each pump, 1 pump per side of the door) 16.

I do have one question though, does your door close automatically if there's water and you left it open? Cause if not that is definitely a major flaw and I would not mind helping you fix it if you wanted.
