Description
The first of a series of circuits I previously made but didn't take the time to properly release, until now. :)

The Sequence Skip Airlock is the simplest to use airlock with decent comfort features. On pressing any of the buttons, both doors close and the airlock starts it's draining or flooding sequence. Once the airlock is fully drained or flooded, the inside or outside door will open respectively. If you're in a hurry - whether it's being chased by a tresher or the clown with the funny hammer - you can press the button again after a short time to skip the sequence, opening the door before the sequence is complete. This may let some water in, but that's what we've got bilge pumps for right?

I hope this will be of use to some of you!

Note: If your airlock doesn't cycle properly (for instance it drains, but then opens once it's filled letting water in again) try switching around the doors. The circuit isn't entirely symmetrical.

Very nice, ended my hours of struggle with a docking hatch airlock, 10/10 would recommend

Really nice stuff. Works most of the time. Sometimes it gets stuck and refuses to open the inner door, and the pump keeps trying to pump water out when the outer door is open, but it mostly works as expected. No idea how I could fix those, the circuitry is beyond me.

I was able to fix this by using the state of the outside door, a not component and set state of the pump to circumvent the oddity. take my points.

really cool airlock, mostly works, only caviat for me is im using the left most airlock diagram, and when it fills with water and opens the left door (i switched the doors around// open to outside) the pump fluctuates at -49 to -50 instead of turning off, so it is constantly running only when we leave the sub. other than that this is completely functional and exactly what I was looking for in an airlock.

Cool, I'll give it a shot, actual working airlocks seem to be a rare thing!

@Gejaheline The item should be updated now, there was a signal check missing so while the docking would override both doors to be open, it would put the airlock in the full state rather than the drain state :)

Just tried it out. It consantly drains and fills the airlock and ejects the water after filling. Is that intended?:captainsinful:

@Gejaheline Woops, I'll have to look into that. Probably something I broke when moving the contraption around to display it. There should be some signal from the state_out of the docking port that sets the pump target level to -50. I'll see if I can update it later.

Addendum to previous comment: Connecting the docking port's signal relay directly to the pump's signal relay fixed the issue (until someone pressed one of the airlock cycle buttons), so that's a partial solution.

The standard option works excellently, but the "open both doors when a shuttle is docked" version appears to open both doors and sets the pump to fill the room with water when a shuttle docks, when it should be emptying.
