Space Skybox (quarter sphere)

Description
The skybox i made for my map "gravity cubes". The space theme is desperately lacking from this game so I thought this would be useful. Even though it is a bit technical to use for the sake of saving memory.

IMPORTANT USAGE INSTRUCTIONS :
  • Warning : despite the name, this is not a full sphere skybox.
  • In order to save memory and improve texture resolution, I made a quarter-sphere that is meant to be duplicated in 4 copies for a full skybox.
  • For a perfect setup, duplicate the original 3 times through rotation around vertical Z axis.
  • The pivot point is setup so you don't need to move/translate the copies for them to match perfectly.
  • You can even edit the rotation/position through text to get a perfect result : just set all 4 parts to the exact same position, and set their Z rotations to 0, 90, 180 and -90.
  • Don't forget you can scale it to match the size of your map. It might get culled out if you make it too big, but it can definitely be big enough for most maps out there.
