Description
Six Rooms, Bath and Big Porch

The Pittsburgh is a two-story house, designed to reflect the pleasing exterior lines of a modern bungalow and the interior efficiency of a high grade apartment. ~Sears Modern Homes.

There are hundreds of "Pittsburgh" models located in the Pittsburgh area, and surprisingly very few elsewhere. Perhaps this model was the perfect sweet spot for the lot sizes or finances of the residents of 1920's southwestern Pennsylvania. Perhaps it was shunned by prospective clients in other similar cities due to the name. Either way, it should look right at home in your city.

This model represents my first level one home, and my first single tile wide lot.

Standard disclaimer applies. Due to the range of years these houses were offered, along with changes to details, and additional options available to customers, the model will not be a 100% match to the catalog image. I have used real world examples of these houses for reference, which may have also differed further than what was shown in the catalog. The small rear porch with door to the kitchen was added due to all of the example houses I used having a porch or enclosed room in that location.

Please give me a like with a "thumbs up" if you enjoy.

Oh, ok thank you so much!

@fewsaid: I'm not sure why they aren't appearing for you. This uses a vanilla template like all the others. It does use a single tile lot (x3 deep, I think) so that might have something to do with it. If there isn't a lot of that size, it won't spawn.

The houses aren't appearing, I installed all the mods, can you help?

Thanks to all for the feedback!

@-Renegade- I hope to eventually expand into some of the cottage style houses (as well as four squares and Dutch colonials) that were offered by Sears. I will certainly keep the Bellewood in mind.

@dudemeister They look great with your houses! I have at least one more single tile wide lot in the pipeline.

@BonBonB Thanks, I look forward to checking it out. Sorry that the garden path is acting up for you. It looks fine on my end, but I will monitor the situation, and consider swapping it out if I hear of any more issues with it.

I'm getting a little bit of a 3D tranparent box effect with the garden path. No one else has mentioned this so might be a mod issue at my end. I'm featuring the building in tomorrow's What Map (#1097) if you want to check it out. It's nothing that would stop me using it, but though you should know.

Absolutely flawless - really appreciate the single-wide tile design as well. Keep em up friend!

==Tons of these in Dormont.==

I'm sure I've seen these, either growing up in Indiana or living in Ohio. I think there is one several blocks from my house.
