Lore
With 15 Turrets and a large compliment of fixed weaponry, the Scylla was designed for one purpose - destruction. It prizes offense over anything else, with numerous beam cannons and a large of mount of radiative surfaces to accomodate them all. To go along with this, the Scylla also has very powerful shielding for its class, and is designed to draw enemies in using this defensive advantage, knowing that their own heavy weapons will also need shorter ranges to be effective. When such prey approaches, the Scylla can open up with a massive amount of firepower in any direction, instantly stripping away shields and burning directly into key systems.

Its one weakness is its speed, which is lower than many others of its class, but what it lacks here it has already made up for in defense and firepower. It is even common for many crews to run on minimal sublight power, in order to allow their weapons to fire constantly and make short work of their enemies.

Notes
- The Nav lights may not spawn in correctly. They should be off when the gear is down, and blinking when the gear is up. If this is not the case, simply go to the Nav light control in the cargo hold, and flip the switch off and back on again.
