In 1972, designing process for B3's successor started. Since beginning it was planned to house a V4 engine, 1500cm3 being essentially a halved GMO V8. Vehicle was put into production in 1975 and looked relatively modern, lacking chrome details in the exterior. Vehicle was a commercial success, being both more roomy, more dynamic and smaller in size than its predecessor. Replaced in 1980s by B5, was also facelifted in 1982.
