Description
We are proud to announce our newest collection and our second in the Carboniferous era. With your help, we can complete our studies and bring back these ancient animals.

The focus of this collection is Mazon Creek, a river delta on the western coast of Pangea, between 298 and 308 million years ago. Many of the animals occupied the brackish waters of the delta, taking shelter from marine predators and using the confluence of ocean and river as a source of food.

This collection is intended for most aquariums, save for the most inexperienced. In addition to observational data sent to us, you’ll also have to attain rank 3 before we’ll make the first animals available.

Animals under study:
Acanthodes beecheri
Acanthodes marshi
Adelophthalmus mazonensis
Amphibamus grandiceps
Bandringa Rayi
Chirodus orbicularis
Elonichthys peltigerus
Euproops danae
Isodectes obtusus
Mycterops ordinatus
Oligotypus makowskii
Phlegethontia longissima
Platysomus circularis
Spondylerpeton spinatum
Tullimonstrum gregarium

To assist with keeping our fabricated organisms, we’ll provide access to scenery pieces specific to their native habitat.

Scenery pieces included:
Alethopteris serlii
Alethopteris serlii young
Asterotheca
Asterotheca live
Sigillaria young
Sigillaria mature
Sigillaria Live

A special thanks to Irritating Fish for the base model and animations for Oligotypus, and a thanks to everyone for their kind words and support through all of this!

Fixed missing strings in some languages, lowered Bandringa's minimum size size. Lowered Bandringa's prey size, lowered Mycterops' prey size, gave Oligotypus arthropod eater.

And the update is out, concluding the Carboniferous era! The Permian Collection will be out next week and I'm working on the Triassic at the moment. While that roster is planned, I'd love to get any suggestions or requests for the Jurassic and Cretaceous.

I'll be doing the Posidonia Shale for the Jurassic I, and the Kayenta Formation and other freshwater North American animals for the Jurassic II, the Niobrara Formation for the Cretaceous I and the Kem Kem beds for the Cretaceous II, so if you have any favorites from any of those places please post them in my mod collection's suggestion thread so I know to prioritize them!

As a paleontologist in Illinois I take personal offense to the lack of the Tully monster in this collection lol Great packs-- I really appreciate your work.

As always, I'll wait a bit to post screenshots so people have a chance to go in blind. A big thanks to Flishster and GlarnBoudin for going over the stats and to everyone who helped with art feedback!
