I ended up balancing the water blob on top of the cube and then moved the cube onto the grating near the tractor beam. Then, I went below and grabbed the blue cube and brought it up (keeping it under the grating with the portal gun). Then, while still holding the blue cube, I jumped on top of the laser cube (with the water blob stil on top) and pushed the blob until it fell. I let go of the blue cube and the water+cube fell straight down and the water hit the cube removing the blue gel.

Thanks for playing ... see you soon ;)
FYI, the reason there are pedestal timers connected to the bomb droppers is because the "balancing" and physics are actually easier if only one dropper is active at a time. I had a much harder time balancing gel blobs when all the bomb droppers were perpetually dropping.
I am subscribing to your chambers. I will slowly get to them and comment as I go. =)
the third room has killed me :)
I will publish soon an other similar map, I'll let you know about that.
That chamber should really be played before playing this one.
