Spartan III Miranda - A101 Miranda would be among the many survivors of the augmentation process from Alpha Company and one of the few assets that was pulled aside from Operation PROMETHEUS. Given Mjolnir Armor along with her fellow peers, Miranda would go on to serve on Reach during the Winter Contingency and work with a Spartan Team known as Odin's Might to help with the evacuation of civilians. Odin's Might had a fierce loyalty to the people of Reach and Humanity, believing the main purpose of the creation of Spartans is to protect humanity oppose to only cause death and destruction to the enemy alone. Among the three Spartans, Miranda was dubbed as 'Valkyrie' between the people and her team, becoming her call sign soon after. Since she would plunge herself into battle first with haste to be there in the heat of the action to turn the tide oppose to making it too late." Better to have tried and failed than to have never have tried at all." - Miranda, A101 Even though Spartan IIIs were needed as scalpels during the Winter Contingency to push back against the Covenant, Miranda was the blunt instrument to smash things apart. In other words, she was specialized in Extensive Fire Fights, Total War, and Assault Tactics. During and after the Fall of Reach, Miranda would harbor a hate for the Covenant due to the civilian executions that were left behind during the sacking of New Alexandria, especially the unruly and primal Brutes due to the mass murdering. After the Pillar of Autumn launched, she would remain on Reach while it was being glassed and took to retrieve the remains of any Spartan Teams that have fallen in combat, to lay them to rest in a proper burial sight, to rest together. During this self-imposed objective, she would begin to fight for survival and have to turn to hunting and making Covenant personnel into meals due to the wild life population being glassed and running away from the glassing itself. Only when the objective was done would she seek an alternative way to escape Reach.
