LH-65 Hydra

It has a VTOL mode, new aerobatics were invented on it, it can fly under water, easily detects all the loot on the map, can transport people and cargo (even icebergs), is not afraid of either God, or the devil, or even Soviet power ... It's Hydra!

The LH-65 Hydra is the next model in the Loothunter range. It is a multitasking vehicle, the main purpose of which is to search and collect trophies. It differs from the LH-54, first of all, in the water-resistance of the cabin, which allows underwater research. The stabilization and inertia damping system has been significantly improved. Other useful features have been added as well.

There are several ways to get inside. If you are in the hangar, go around the back of the Hydra and enter through the ramp. If Hydra is spawned in the dock, you can enter through the upper hatch in the cockpit, or through the upper dock hatch in the passenger compartment.

To start the engines turn on the "main power" master switch located under the right foot. Then click on the "starter" button on the left sidebar.

Press hotkey 3 to switch between VTOL and Airplane mode.

The craft is equipped with dual ion engines, accelerating it to 475 km / h in airplane mode and 200 km / h in VTOL mode, at 80% of the standard power. The power can be increased up to 200% if needed, but I do not recommend doing this, except in transporting really heavy loads cases.

It uses the inertia compensation system (enabled by default), which automatically slows down the craft if you leave control. This is convenient at high speeds, but it is better to turn it off for precise work. This system also compensates for the wind.

There is an underwater mode, which turns on automatically if the Hydra is completely submerged. In airplane mode, underwater speed is 225 km / h, VTOL - 120 km / h. For the underwater mode to work correctly, you need to flood the passenger compartment.

If you want to exit underwater you can exit the cockpit through an airlock - make sure there is enough space in the tanks to drain the airlock, otherwise, it will not work.

If the airlock does not work, it can be forced open. You can also forcefully open it if you are too lazy to press the "open" button all the time XD But do not dive with the fully open airlock!


"How to turn on the autopilot?"
On top there should be a keyboard where you enter your destination. After you did that on the lower right side there should be a screen where alt hold and gyro are. Make sure you're in airplane mode. You want to hit the a plt because that's how to activate the auto pilot. Auto pilot is a push touchscreen button, so there is a green indicator light on top to understand that autopilot is on or off.

"What button turns the underwater mode on? "
There is no button, you can just dive underwater and the engines will reduce a bit of throttle to make it more controllable but you need to flood the passenger compartment so it doesn't float.

"What is the pod?"
If you ever choose to put pods on manually from the workshop you can and if you hit the button it will drop them.

"How do you turn it on again?"
If you turn off the engines, be sure to turn them on again before pressing the starter. The red indicator on the top panel is "engines stopped".
