The Razor Crest

Description
"I like your ship. She's a classic. Razor Crests, am I right?"

The Razor Crest
The Razor Crest is a pre-Empire gunship used by famed Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin. Acting as both a transport and a home for the bounty hunter, he traveled the Outer Rim hunting bounties during the infant years of the New Republic.

User Manual and Warnings
World Settings:
In order to keep the ship looking sleek and shiny, almost all of the thrusters are within the hull of the ship, meaning thruster damage must be disabled in your world settings. Additionally, supergridding must be enabled in your world settings to accommodate the main flight seat and the jet turbines in the engine nacelles.

Landing/Departing Sequences:
The ship has two separate sequences for deploying/retracting the landing gear.

To land, you press 3 on the first hotbar, then let the sequence run. Wait a moment before touching down, as the sequence still needs to lock and activate inertial tensors. You can tell when the tensors activate as the gear will snap and lock into place. The landing gear can fully support the weight of the ship, so you can disable your inertial dampeners after landing.

To depart, just press 4 on the first hotbar and the sequence will take care of the rest.

Flying Capabilities:
The ship can fly fairly well on most planets, though it is slow in some environments. I personally would not recommend taking it onto a planet with gravitational pull higher than 1.0g's (such as Pertam), as the ship has a tendency to slowly sink into the ground.

Control Schemes
Ctrl+1 Hotbar:
  • Gatling Guns
  • Rocket Launchers
  • Landing Sequence
  • Departure Sequence
Ctrl+2 Hotbar:
  • Gravity Alignment ON
  • Gravity Alignment OFF
Ctrl+3 Hotbar:
  • Port (left) Ramp
  • Starboard (right) Ramp
  • Stern (rear) Ramp
  • Stern Ramp Lock

Builder's Notes
While not a perfect rendition of the Razor Crest, I tried to make this ship look as close as I could to what we see in the show. The main goal of the build was to capture the silhouette/profile of the ship in-game, which led to me spending hours scrubbing through multiple episodes to make sure I was getting all the right details into the ship. The same process (though to a less time-consuming extent) was used for the interior. Some creative liberties were taken for the build, such as adding rocket launchers to the guns to give the ship more firepower.

Ratings and feedback are always appreciated!

This Razor crest is fantastic. I do have to mention that it's criminal that you didn't put a large hydrogen tank in both of the engines. They fit perfectly in there.

There is no way to fly it. :/

This is without a doubt the best Razor Crest on the workshop, it's definitely the most aesthetically accurate to the one on the show. It is unfortunate that the ship is not Survival ready, but that is the price we pay for having something that looks this good.

10/10 on this.

@Dittimus The main control seat is considered a supergrid, so if your world does not have supergrids enabled in the World Settings, the seat will not load.

The main control seat wouldn't spawn in for me, are you using any mods that I may not have installed? When I subscribe it doesn't give me any warnings about not having any of the required dlc so I can't really get it to work properly.

Shit.
Neoaptic  [author] 18 Mar, 2021 @ 9:04pm
As it stands this ship is not survival ready due to the thruster config and supergrids.
Ren 18 Mar, 2021 @ 4:44pm
Is this survival ready?

ammo just buy the DLC's regardless. they are dirt cheap and if you like the game it helps support the devs, just saying.
