Description
This mod is a revival of the Transport Fever mod of the same name, with Compact Tunnel Entry, paraelle tracks and automatic signalling removed, due to the implementation of better mods.

This mod give you possibility to create kinds of track patterns precisely with parameters, which more alike real life engineering work.
It gives you hand to control separately the following parameters:
* Slope
* Size of switch
* Walls at sides of tracks, including type, height, distance to track, and height variation to avoid Zig-Zags when you want to make a transition of walls of different height
* Automatically calculated terrain which is impossible to archive by normal constructions

=== Three patterns are found in Asset menu category "track_design_patterns" ===
1. Switch
2. Crossover
3. Track ladders

=== Brief introduction to patterns ===

1. Switch
This pattern create simple a switch, by controlling the size represented by cotangent of the switch frog. You can use it repeatly to quickly construction a diverging section of a depot or station.
This pattern also permits a flat junction quickly, by multiplying number of tracks
You can choose the form of turn out of switches by changing "compactness" option between "Complete" and others.
You can add walls to the sides of switches, which is much easier than adding it manually with assets.

2. Crossover
Two crossovers are supported, the X crossover and N crossover, to get K crossover, please construct two N crossover in opposition.
You have option to construct some parallel N crossovers by choosing 1/2 or 3/4 N crossovers.
You can change the distance between two tracks to fit into different parts of stations.

3. Track ladders
This pattern is destinated to quickly create diverging part of a depot or something similar.
You can change the distance between exit tracks to fit into different parts of stations.
You can add walls to the sides of switches, which is much easier than adding it manually with assets.

1.1
* French translation
* Fix the irremovable terrain under tracks built as free tracks.
1.0

Have you enabled the mod in your savegame?

After downloading, you have to enable the mod. From the menu, click on load game (not continue) then click on your save and click on options to enable the mod.

Cheers,
Chris.

Hi thanks for the reply, but that hasn't come up for me. only the normal options. What am i missing, is there something else i have to subscribe first like an asset library?

In your train menu, you should see a series of tabs, tracks, buildings, track constructions.... you will find them in there.

Cheers,
Chris.

hi, im new to TF2 and annoyed at how hard it is to do a criss cross before a station sometimes.
iv subscribed to this mod and restarted the game yet i have no idea how to use it. cant find anywhere which explains it. how do you use this mod? there's nothing i can see on the UI.

in the crossover, the "3/4N" layout has the walls flipped the wrong way. the half wall is on the full track side, and the full wall is on the half track side

With CROSSOVER, why i cannot choose tracks number? I wanted to build a 4 tracks crossover... In other tools that you made, this is possibile.

Hope this comparison helps you. In reality , at least in continental Europe standard is 4.2m. There's also 5.0m however it's used in special circumstances. It seems Urban games decided to go for an average (pretty sure it's 4.5m) for their parallel tracks (including stations). Sorry for the double post.

Not ok mate. Default distance between parallel tracks is 4.5m , not 5. This also applies to stations, making it very weird looking. U should check that out. Other than that i think your tool should be built-in the vanilla.
