Sounds of Europa is an audio overhaul mod that aims to enhance the vanilla soundscape and therefore improve the player's immersion and game experience.


Experience Barotrauma with new high quality sound effects. There are new additions to the soundscape across the board. Some additions Include:

• New HQ Weapons SFX

• HQ Explosions SFX
  
• HQ Alarms SFX to customize your submarine with
  
• Immersive soundtracks from Shadows of Forgotten Legends[cryochamber.bandcamp.com]

Custom Submarines: Sounds of Europa overrides much of the vanilla content to be able to operate as intended. That results in unexpected déficits in custom submarines that heavily modify submarine parameters. Unfortunately, there is no known better solution than to remove the override completely. It should work as intended in custom subs with default parameters and approximate values.

Other mods: SoE is designed to be vanilla-friendly, for the vanilla experience. No prior tests were made to ensure total compatibility with other mods, but it should be, in theory, compatible with any other mod that does not conflict with the same feature overrides.
