Burlington Northern Train #1 | Winter on the Foothills

Description
Throughout the 80's, the Burlington Northern Railroad operated a maximum priority sea stack train from Chicago to Seattle. In an attempt to make these kinds of priority runs non stop, BN turned a number of tank cars into fuel tenders. Today you will take Train #1 non stop from from Cut Bank to Summit, stopping at Summit only briefly for an air check. The High Line Dispatch has planned your run to be as quick as possible through the single track in between Browning and Summit, but the line is busy today so do expect some delays.

Difficulty: Medium/Hard, 80 Minutes. Train #1 is supposed to be able to maintain track speed throughout the run, so dispatch will have you scheduled for minimum delays. Note that the WB at Browning is set to depart at 17:48.

Required Assets:
1. Marias Pass
2. BN GP38-2 (from BNSF GP38-2 pack)
3. BN SD40-2 (from BNSF SD40-2 Pack)
4. BN F45

It's a tad content heavy, sorry about that. I wanted to make this scenario as realistic as possible. The train is based off of a real photo taken at Glacier in 1989, however, this run is set in about 1984 so I could use the F45s. Special thanks to steam user agseig for helping me with some history research. You can find his workshop here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/profiles/76561198049844313/myworkshopfiles/?appid=24010 Check his stuff out, they're very good at what they do.

I'm sorry, idaho 2.0. I too, received an AI collision from BN Train 2 and BN Train 103. Turned out that BN Train #2 wasn't moving at all.

So when I bought the SD40-2, I bought it as a standalone add on which has since been removed and assimilated into this BNSF loco pack you speak of. The BNSF (BN) loco pack SHOULD work with this, however, I'm not fully certain.

will this work with the BNSF (BN) loco pack? or do you need each dlc separately?

I've experienced this on some of my scenarios as well. It'll test fine on my end, but some people will have issues and some won't. Usually I recommend clearing the game cache, which I should do here. However, it usually boils down to "TS behaves differently on different people's machines". There's only so much you can do on the editor end.

Man that's too bad. It seems like my issues with Marias Pass persist. Unfortunately I'm not able to discern what is causing the collision, because on my end there are no reported defects in the scenario editor, and testing for me runs smoothly. It's seeming like it's another randomly occurring defect. Since you're experienced with scenario builder, do you have an ideas as to what could be happening here?

Nice run on a sunny day in the snow. No problems on my trip. It might look like that over there tomorrow. We have had a pretty nice winter so far. Thanks for all you do.

Well there must be something messed up with my install of Train Simulator. I received an AI collision from BN Train 2 and BN Train 103 when I was about 11 miles away from Blackfoot Main 1. Ran a second time and received the same thing. Noticed on the map that BN Train 2 never moved.

That's great to hear! Thanks for downloading. For some reason, Browning is one if my favorite spots to run through, I'm not sure why though. It's just fun for me I guess
