Primary Fire - Large block laser, specialised for damaging hull blocks. Get under those shields for your bombing run!

The button for the top hatch is underneath a handle in the cockpit fuselage, with a button to close it above your head once inside.
You can also toggle the interior light with the switch on the left of the pilot seat
