Lotus mk3 Orbital Satellite

The lotus is a (hopefully) balanced out laser satellite armed with 4 somewhat stationary lasers and 1 large gimbal laser in the center along with 16 large missiles. The Lotus was initially built as a possible final boss for my campaign (and I'm still putting it into the faction ships) although that will likely not happen and the satellite will likely not even end up in the campaign. The lotus is balanced by not being able to see submarines or easily attack other space vehicles along with pointing at the target which in theory blocks the main laser (although occasionally it just fires right through itself).

The lotus has strong anti-missile defense and decent smoke, but it should still be pretty easy to hit and deal damage to. It's hard to balance satellites so any critique would be nice. This is kind of just filler content because the boat I'm working on now is taking longer then I expected.

I hope you still enjoy the lotus and it's still fun to fight even if the design is a little cheaty.


Note: this satellite is from a long time ago and doesn't really match well with the campaigns general aesthetic, it also needs to be spawned in at around 1800 meters up
