Lore
The Hydra was developed concurrently with the Scylla destroyer, as a compliment to its close range specialization. While having comparable armor but weaker shields and damage output, the Hydra is able to damage enemies from much farther off, and has considerable speed for its class to allow it to stay out of their ranges.

Although the plan was to release both ships simultaneously, Naval pressure to get effective and deadly patrol boats around docks lead to the acceleration of the Scylla's development schedule, and thus the Hydra was deployed later. When this deployment occurred, many Scylla crews began requesting transfers, as being on an artillery ship was generally considered a safer assignment. The result was an unintended but welcome consequence for the Navy: they had their pick of Hydra crews and were able to select only the best marksmen and engineers to man them. Thus, Hydras are often some of the deadlier ships in the fleet due to not only their advanced armament, but their skilled crews.

Notes
- The Nav lights may not spawn in correctly. They should be off when the gear is down, and blinking when the gear is up. If this is not the case, simply go to the Nav light control on the starboard dorsal rear section, and flip the switch off and back on again.

red your review, interesting points, I'm afraid I agree as for the S.E part. Cheers!

This is so cool!!! The ship name is called like my Compañy in Space Engineers "Hydra". I'm considering building in this game. I've heard is much stable than Space Engineers?

Very cool build. So much to look at and play with. I especially love the bridge. I think that its the coolest bridge I have seen so far. Has that feeling of being overwhelmed by controls, like the cockpit of a plane. Dig i!!

It was actually inspired by the Amarr Punisher from EVE, but I suppose Normandy is not a bad thing to be associated with either ;)

Strong Normandy vibes here. Very nice looking ship though I don't really dig the position of the cockpit but that's totally personal preference :)
