Decrease Side Accuracy

Description
Dereases the accuracy of all units belonging to one side currently in the mission. Simply place the trigger and adjust the side and the dispersion amount.

How it works: Every time a unit fires, an event handler moves the round randomly within a set distance away from the unit before it begins to travel, thus making it less accurate. Since you can adjust the random dispersion distance you can change how effective a side's fire will be.

I also have a composition which will apply this same event handler to individual units, which you can find in my workshop. This composition is intended to be used with that one or on its own. The composition for individual units is applied five seconds after the side composition so it'll override the side value for the new value.

EDIT: Tested. excellent mate. it works on vics. setting it to 22 i could clearly see a Kaysh HE rounds leaving the barrel very offset and it still took down a ghost hawk but only on the 2nd pass and barely got it.

Doesnt work on units initialised after start but what about units that at mission start have their simulation disabled via the SHOW/HIDE module? Still apply to them without issue right?

I'm less familiar with alive but you should be able to have the script run every 15 to 30 seconds so new units will receive the event handler.

Glad you have something that's working. If you haven't, checkout my scrip for changing individual unit accuracy (compatible with this script by running it a few seconds later) so you can tweak specific tanks, AA vehicles, snipers, etc... Cheers!

Well, damn. I've been tinkering in the editor since Arma 2 came out, but I never even bothered looking at the Compositions option. Thank you so much! And you got back to me so quick. I really appreciate that. As it turns out I "reverse engineered" your trigger by trying to work it out from the screenshot you put up here. And I got it working. It's perfect by the way. I already tested it and it gets the enemy AI to exactly the accuracy I want. I was about to finally give up on Arma pretty much for good, because the AI was always just too frustrating. No worries. Compositions aren't the easiest to find. In the editor, if you click on groups a new section will appear—a circle with three dots around it—for custom compositions. Click on that go down to Steam subscribed content. Checkout the example image below:

Hi. I'm hoping you can help me out because your mod seems like exactly what I'm after. I clicked subscribe but it doesn't show up in my mod list for Arma. It's probably something really obvious, and I apologise for the stupid question, but what do I need to do to access this trigger info? Thanks a lot in advance.

Have not tested in MP. Anyone is welcome to modify it for multiplayer if that is needed.
