Description
The Grumman E-1B Tracer (Formerly the WF-1) referred to either as "Willy Fudd" or "Stoof with a Roof" was an interim aircraft design based from the C-1A Trader and introduced into Naval service in 1958 to serve as an Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Air Intercept Control (AIC) aircraft while the E-2 Hawkeye was being developed. Despite this, the aircraft saw service for almost 20 years which included operations during the Vietnam War.

This rendition of the Tracer is how one would have looked post 1962 and wears the paint and emblems of VAW-111 and is perfectly capable of performing it's intended role of providing early warning, vectoring aircraft to intercept, and identifying friend or foe contacts.

Specifications:

- Max Speed: 168 KIAS
- Cruise Speed: 144 KIAS
- Max Range: 240 Km
- Fuel Capacity: 14,400 LBS

*Note: The Radome does provide added lift (as it's real world counterpart did) and therefore the stall speed is lower then that of the Tracker or Trader variants.

Sensor Equipment:

- Radar with a 100 Km range*
*Attenuation (located on the "UPM-44C Radar Test Set") controls the ability of the radar to detect targets beyond 50KM (to 100KM) when in the 'High'/'On' setting.
- Target ranging, bearing, and altitude finding equipment
- IFF Decoding equipment

Single Engine Flight:
If you suffer an engine failure follow these steps to remain airborne.

- Advance Throttle Full Forward
- If the Failing Engine is on fire, close Fuel Valve and extinguish fire
- Turn on Rudder Assist
- Open Cowl Flaps
- Turn on working engines Aux Fuel Pump
- Attempt restart of failed engine *DO NOT ATTEMPT RESTART IF ENGINE FAILED DUE TO FIRE*
- If engine cannot be restarted, Feather Prop and close Fuel Valve
- Extend Flaps as needed
- To keep the aircraft balanced switch between fuel tanks intermittently.
- Monitor the good engine's temperature, if it begins to overheat lower throttle slightly until temperature drops.
- Land as soon as possible

***ENSURE YOU HAVE 'INFINITE ELECTRICITY' TURNED OFF IN THE OPTIONS***

UPDATE 25 OCT 2022:

grinch469, Sorry you're having trouble.
I just took it for a spin just the other day to make sure it indeed worked, and it did.
Can you talk me through the steps you are following and the options you have set to on/off in the options menu?
This way I can try and duplicate your results and see if something is indeed amiss.

squishy123, maybe if they make them more customizable. Right now I'm just going to wait for the dust to settle and see if they fix/change them. Hope you understand.

CH1HUAHUA_MAN, forgot to mention that some of the switch names are changed in the Tracer I discuss those at the beginning of the Tracer tutorial video.
