Does this behaviour occur with anybody else's hat flairs or is it just my flairs?
As for fixing the issue, I have checked my class files and there does not seem to be anything wrong there. Right now I have absolutely no idea what's causing this therefore I cannot fix this myself. However if it seems that my mods cause this I will try to figure it out. I'll start by asking people more experienced with this than me in the AHIT discord to see if they know anything related to this.
Until then you'll just have attempt switching hats aggressively until the system actually wants to remember what flairs you want to use. I apologize for the inconvenience.
However its with quick select, when the mod is active the three hats "Kid's Hat, Sprint Hat, and Brewing Hat" doesn't normally update itself, plus its been half and half on my end. sometimes its updates correctly, but sometimes it stay's with its previous hat flair for quick select.
Unfortunately that's all I know, I am not present in any beta branches and this strange quick select issue is only present most of the time. Disabling the mod causes the strange quick select behaviour to disappear, and quick select will act normal.
I heard the game developers have released some random small updates and an experimental beta branch that could break mods in preparation for the new Creator DLC. Are you using this beta branch by any chance?
does anyone know how to fix it???
Darn, all of that sounds really cool.. The 2k textures definitely sound like something my cheap little PC can't handle very well, but I don't know what PBR textures are.
I actually did modify the LOD settings to be lower than normal. Maybe the models are so high quality that my lower graphics settings are bugging them out? I'm not sure if that could be it, but it's as good an explanation as any!
Actually, my game works just fine if I remove the Cyberpunk mod. That's how I figured out it was the cause of my crashes; I uninstalled it, it ran every time. I put it back in, it wouldn't even make it to the company splash screens before crashing, even after three attempts. I uninstalled it one more time, and it has ran without a single crash since then.
But yeah this mod includes things like 2K PBR textures, animated flipbooks, emissive materials and even high-poly models. The witch hat flair for example has the highest poly count of all the objects in the mod.
As for the problem itself I can't be fully certain but if your PC specs are what you say anything could be interfering. I'm not too familiar at all on how you modify that .ini file to customize the game settings but maybe there is a conflict with LOD's or something. Not too sure since I don't know exactly how LOD's work in AHIT.
I'm not too certain this would work but you could try to verify the game's caches to see if that does anything especially if the game does not even reach the main menu.
Which is a shame, because I really really wanted to play with this mod (and especially that coat, it looks so cool!) I noticed the mod's files are very big, so maybe it's because I use a customized .ini file with low graphics, and it's causing the mod's high resolution textures to not render properly? I use a very cheap PC.
I hate to ask, but is there anything you can do to fix this?
